Accounts Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and data analysis. As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as supporting various financial processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Raise invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Perform thorough bank and account reconciliations to maintain the accuracy of financial records.

  • Prepare financial reports and statements, providing clear and concise information to support decision-making.

  • Assist with tax preparation and filing processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Conduct technical accounting tasks, including analyzing financial data and ensuring adherence to accounting principles.

  • Process accounts payable transactions, verifying invoices and making payments promptly.

  • Collaborate in budgeting processes, monitoring budget variances and providing insights to optimise financial performance.

  • Perform in-depth account analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Sage Accounting software.

  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel for financial analysis.

  • Familiarity with tax regulations, procedures, and reporting requirements.

  • Knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.

  • Ability to reconcile accounts and effectively resolve discrepancies.

  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data and identifying trends or issues.

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 16:30 and Friday 08:30 - 14:00

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £28,400.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Deeside: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • Accounting: 1 year (preferred)

  • bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)

Expected start date: 04/09/2023
